Recipient Experience

Beneficiaries receive and access their disbursements through the Decaf Wallet. The first time they receive funds, they complete a simple, guided verification process. After this initial step, all future disbursements arrive automatically.

1.1 Receiving the Payment Email

  • The beneficiary receives a payment email from “Decaf Org.”

  • They click the secure link included in the message.

This opens the Claim Funds screen inside Decaf.

1.2 Verifying Identity (First-Time Only)

On the Claim Funds screen, the beneficiary completes a quick identity verification:

  • Select Email as the verification method.

  • Receive a one-time passcode (OTP) by email and enter it in the Passcode field.

  • Enter the PIN provided by the organization in the PIN field.

This ensures that only the intended recipient can claim the funds.

1.3 Viewing the Funds

Once verified:

  • Tap Back to home.

  • Refresh the screen to view the updated USDC balance.

  • The transaction will also appear in the user’s history.

This verification is only required once.

After the initial setup, all future payments arrive automatically in the wallet without needing to claim them.
