  • 3.1 Preparing the Beneficiary List
  • 3.2 Creating a Disbursement in SDP
  • 3.3 Reviewing and Confirming the Disbursement

3.1 Preparing the Beneficiary List

Before creating a disbursement, the organization must prepare a structured list of recipients. This list is uploaded to SDP in CSV format.

Fields include:

  • Email

  • Verification type (PIN, date of birth, national ID, etc.)

  • Amount to send

  • Internal reference IDs (optional)

Download CSV template here.

3.2 Creating a Disbursement in SDP

This step configures how the disbursement will function and how beneficiaries will be contacted.

  • Log in and navigate to “New Disbursement.”

  • Select the disbursement settings:

    • Contact type: the email address where beneficiaries will receive their payment notification.

    • Wallet: select Decaf as the receiving wallet.

    • Asset: choose USDC as the currency to be disbursed.

    • Verification type: choose PIN, date of birth, or national ID number to ensure the beneficiary verifies their identity before claiming the funds.

  • Customize the invitation message, or use the default one.

  • Upload the CSV file containing the beneficiary list.

3.3 Reviewing and Confirming the Disbursement

Before launching:

  • Review each row for accuracy.

  • Confirm that the total amount matches your available USDC balance.

  • Approve and launch the disbursement.

SDP will immediately begin sending notifications and processing payments.
